Congratulations, SKA!!!!!!
This game was the culmination of the 2017 Russia's Bandy Cup tournament. The defending Cup holder SKA-neftyanik Khabarovsk blanked Yenisey Krasnoyarsk, 4-0. Despite of the fact, that our team had home ice advantage, all of the of experts , fans or bandy executives were ambivalent about the ultimate outcome of the rivalry. Both teams made their second consecutive Finals appearance. With twenty minutes into the game, when SKA had received their first lead, they stayed so dominant on the ice, that by the end of the first half there were few people in the audience left in doubt. Maksim Ishkeldin scored twice with six minutes apart for SKA midway in the first half and Aleksandr Antipov followed suit netting another two. Second half went scoreless, although both teams fired off so many shots on goal.
We congratulate SKA-neftyanik, our captain Aleksey Chizhov, who has held the Bandy Cup high above his head for the eight time in it's 51 years sports franchise history!!!!!...and guess who has become a top scorer of the entire 2017 Cup tournament, none other than Pavel Ryazantsev with 16 goals overall!
