SKA-neftyanik trounced Dynamo Kazan
Very few people, but a couple of radically-minded Kazan fans, had vacillated on the result of the game; small doubt, either team, though representing the major league of the Russian bandy is so different in their rating and mastery. The most favorable result for a visiting team would have been just avoiding their doors being blown off, like last season Dynamo Kazan was simply knocked down by SKA, 3-11, not to mention the year before, when they were quashed, 2-16. The same scenario was created and assigned by our team last night, and yet we may say, that our team was trying to treat their opponents with "kid gloves", using an opportunity to try out their rookies, like Dmitriy Anikin and Aleksey Targonskiy, rather than to "pamper the sated appetite".
Maksim Ishkeldin was the MVP of the game, having tallied four goals and two helpers, scored the fastest goal of the season at 00:13 of the game past his former teammate Viktor Yashin. Sergey Skopintsev, the youngest SKA player ever, he was 16 years old when he tried our hometown ream colors for the first time last year, became the youngest bandy player to score a goal. Congrats, young boy!
Our team is back on the road again to play Zorky and Vodnik on November 18 and 21, consequently.
