It was a hell of a bandy roller-coaster, arguably the most interesting quarterfinal game out of four. The first half turned out to be one of those catch and run games. Neither team allowed the opponent to extend the lead with more than one goal advantage, so we had comfortable, 4-4, after the first half, highlighted by Aleksej Dorovskih hat trick. The beginning of the second one was like a cold shower for our hometown team, Sibselmash netted two within a two minute stretch to a tee. Our head coach took a time-out...and to a good cause. SKA equalized, scored another couple and showing dominance in class and style ended up the game with confidence, 10-7. Our team looks at finishing this quarterfinal race with Novosibirsk bandy players in Khabarovsk without being engaged in an extra game.
